SINOPSIS / SINOPSIS

Lucía y Marcelo tienen 30 años y están yendo con cien mil dólares a pagar su futura casa. Pero el vendedor no llega y la escritura se posterga. Tensos y frustrados vuelven a su antiguo departamento alquilado y esconden el dinero. Marcelo le dice: “Tranquila, es un día como cualquier otro”. En el transcurso de esas 24 hs. de espera se revela la verdadera naturaleza del amor entre Lucía y Marcelo, de la crisis por la que están pasando, y de la violencia que los atraviesa.
La película cuenta esas 24hs de una tensión insostenible.

On the way to closing the contract on their first home, Lucía and Marcelo withdraw a hundred thousand dollars in cash from their bank. The seller can’t make it to the signing and it gets postponed to the next day. Frustrated, they head back to their old place and put the money away. The next 24 hours will unveil the true nature of their love, the crisis they are in, and the violence within themselves.

JUAN SCHNITMAN

Juan Schnitman nace en Buenos Aires en 1980. Luego de graduarse en la Universidad del Cine, en el 2004 co-escribe y co-dirige El Amor (primera parte) con Santiago Mitre, Alejandro Fadel y Martín Mauregui. El film es seleccionado en la Settimana Internazionale della Critica en Venecia. En 2007 co-dirige el documental Grande para la Ciudad, estrenado en BAFICI. En 2015 estrena El Incendio en la sección oficial Panorama del Festival de Berlín.  Juan Schnitman was born in Buenos Aires in 1980. He graduated from FUC (Universidad del Cine).

In 2004, he codirected with Alejandro Fadel, Martín Mauregui and Juan Schnitman, El Amor (primera parte), presented at BAFICI and at Settimana Internazionale della Critica in Venice. In 2007, he presented at BAFICI the mid-length, Grande para la Ciudad. His first feature film The Fire (El Incendio) was presented at Berlinale- Panorama in 2015.
